Welcome to the Epidemiology Education Movement web site. It shares information about a grass roots effort to promote the teaching of epidemiology to middle school and high school students.

The Movement aims to provide communication venues for stakeholders, and to implement a focused strategy to monitor and increase efforts to develop curricula and train teachers, create demand, and maintain momentum. Its origin is a small group of epidemiologists and educators who believe that "education" should include understanding of epidemiology and its role as the science of public health.

The Movement has three overall goals:

Top 8 Reasons for Teaching / Learning Epidemiology
